2D Retro Pixel Space Shooter SHMUP Pack is a complete starter pack for your retro Shoot 'em up game.

Pack comes with Master PNG sheet which allows you to import them into any game engine that allows it.

This pack includes backdrop and foreground pieces, player ship with movement variations, space debris, multiple enemy types, NPC Ships, projectiles, explosions, pickups, various animations, and HUD elements.

Pre-animated resources included for import in *.yy format (Game Maker Studio 2) 

Individual Sprite Sheets for each piece for quick import of animations.

You are free to use this in both commercial and non-commercial products with the exception of redistribution in "Asset" form. It may only be used in projects. It is not to be re-sold as an individual asset or as part of a bundle without express consent. 

Credit is unnecessary.

Hey, love the asset pack incredibly. It's such a unique idea. I'm working on a title, and I'll likely be using these in the game. If I get it to completion, I'll likely "buy again" to give you more of what you deserve for this work. I just needed to use something for the time being. I hope that's okay. I also know you said no credit is necessary, but this is my first game, and if I finish it, it'll be thanks to people like you, so I'll make sure you're in the credits, and on the page on itch.io when I post it. Thank you again for all of your work on here. I appreciate you.

As an aside, when this launches, if you like what I've put together and would be interested in working on a few more things that I will need to see this become what I hope it will become, I'd love to have you do a few other things in this style. We could talk more though once I have something full fledged to show you.

Hey, I appreciate the comment. I'm not sure how many more assets I am going to make. When I created these it was more of a profitability evaluation. Unfortunately it appears that this is not a proper market for serious revenue at my skill level. I am very glad that someone enjoys them however. When you publish please post a link so I can purchase and we could discuss what it is your looking for. Thanks again for the kind words, they are motivating.

I understand. As soon as it's completed, I'd love to reach out more and show you what's left, what I'd like to "complete it" and the like. I will definitely share a link with you to share with others, but given that I'll be using your assets, you'll get a copy free of charge. Slow. :) Had some life events happen, but I'm working on getting back into it. I was originally designing this in GMS, but they changed the license for GMS2 and it is no longer free to use, so I had to change platforms. It was a disheartening setback, but I think I found a tool that I am enjoying now, so hopefully that will allow me to catch back up to where I was. Thanks for asking!

Another update: ironically, Humble had a sale on GMS2 Desktop licenses, so I was able to resume on this platform. Work commences!
